Meet the Founder

Christian Czopnik's passion for tech began in the early 2000s: building rudimentary websites, assisting school network administrators and tinkering with early gaming servers. Those first experiments ignited a lasting curiosity for the digital world.

At 19, Chris and a friend launched a garage-based computer repair service, helping local small businesses maintain their IT systems. After two years studying management, Chris made a pivotal decision—he left to join forces with a future partner at what would evolve into Looqmates Communications GmbH, serving high-profile clients like Estée Lauder, OTTO and Microsoft.

Within Looqmates, his focus sharpened: while learning directly from senior designers and programmers, he ultimately managed the company’s internal and client-facing technical infrastructure—network, servers, and strategic IT architecture.

In 2015 the looqmates team spun off a subsidiar brand 'WPmates' , specializing in hosting and design services for WordPress-driven websites—giving a name to their focus on scalable, web‑optimized digital solutions. As of mid‑2020,WPmates and Looqmates operate as separate companies, allowing each brand to sharpen its focus and serve clients more effectively.

Since September 2020, Chris has served as general manager of WPmates, delivering genuine, experience‑based digital expertise to businesses. His leadership merges deep technical acumen with strategic web design and hosting solutions tailored for modern brands.
